MACRO
Thin depth of field and sometimes rather fidgety targets - macro photography of butterflies and insects can be quite a challenge.
But photographing flower cups, for example, can also be difficult if they are moved slightly by the wind.
But the pictures are worth every effort, because they open a view into a world that is hidden to the human eye.
KEYLINE
With keyline photography, the number of colours is greatly reduced, resulting in larger areas of the same colour.
If you photograph everyday things - such as these blood beech branches in front of a cloudy sky - you get very extraordinary pictures.
